On Pongal 2011(15th Jan) director K V Anand announced his next project with Suriya, titled Maatran, and reports are already out, speculating Suriya’s character in the film.
The film which is yet to be launched according to certain newspapers has Suriya playing Siameese twins, while another rumour had it that it was on reincarnation theme.
Now K.V.Anand says,"I have not even started the shoot of Maatran, before these rumours started flying around. All that I can say at the moment is that Suriya is playing five different characters in the film. Suriya will sport five looks in it and each portrayal will be completely different from the other".
