Filmmakers of God’s Own Country are always far-famed for titling their films in stylish and innovative way, especially in English. Say for instance, the famous title of ‘Daddy Cool’ song from ‘Boney M’ was named for Aashiq Abu’s debut directorial film featuring Mammooty, Biju Menon and Daniel Balaji in lead roles. The film was a family-thriller that exhibited the creatively rhetoric style of Aashiq. Now, the filmmaker returns with yet another family-thriller titled ‘Salt ‘n’ Pepper’.
The film features Lal, Asif Ali, Baburaj, Swetha Menon and Mythli in lead roles. Aashiq Ali has started working on the project as the film is rolling fast across the locales of Capital city of Trivandrum.
At the backdrops of same locale, ‘Lucky Jokers’ directed by Sunil is progressing, which is reported to be a comedy thriller. Guess what’s so special about the movie? The film marks the maiden production of Tamil film industry’s lead producer Aascar Ravichandran in Mollywood.
