The buzz that is making rounds is that Sun Pictures are going to produce Mani Ratnam`s next project in Kalki's 'Ponniyin Selvan' a period drama.
This mega project 'Ponniyin Selvan' is made with an whopping amount of Rs.380 crore plus. Jayamohan has penned the dailogues which is based on a novel. Sources says Sun Pictures will produce this film.
Ponniyin Selvan is based on the story of Chola King Raja Raja I and the pre production work of this flick is going on in the fast pace. Close sources reveal that Ilayaraja may team up with Mani again.
